2. Hosting and e-mail

The website and our e-mail mailbox are operated by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus; the servers are located in the European Union. Hostinger processes the data on our behalf (processor).

When the website is accessed, the server stores technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and system information). It serves secure operation and is deleted after a short time. It is not analysed for advertising.

3. Contacting us

The contact form sends your details (name, e-mail address, company, requested service, message) encrypted to our server, which forwards them as an e-mail to our mailbox info@engimation.ch. The enquiry is not stored on the web server.

To protect against automated abuse, your IP address is shortened and made unrecognisable with a secret key (pseudonymised); only this value and the time are stored, for at most 24 hours. When the form opens, your browser also receives a one-time time stamp signed by the server, containing no personal data. We do not use external services such as reCAPTCHA.

If you contact us by e-mail or phone, we process your details (name, e-mail address, content of your enquiry) only to answer you and for any follow-up questions. We keep the correspondence as long as needed for this; business correspondence and contracts, where required by law, for 10 years (Art. 958f Swiss Code of Obligations).

4. Cookies and local storage

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services. Fonts and images are loaded from our own server.

Your browser’s local storage only notes that you closed the data-processing notice. This information does not leave your device. Details: cookie policy.

5. Map (Google Maps)

On the contact page you can open a Google Maps map (Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland; Google LLC, USA). It only loads when you click on it. Only then are your IP address and technical data in particular transmitted to Google; processing in the USA is possible. Without a click there is no connection to Google. 6. Links to other websites

Links to other services (e.g. LinkedIn) are plain links. You only leave this website when you click on them; the respective provider is responsible for data processing there.

7. Transfers abroad

Data is only passed to the providers named above (Hostinger in the EU; Google only after you click the map). The EU provides adequate data protection. For the USA, Google relies on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

8. Data security

The website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss and unauthorised access.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 25 FADP), rectification and erasure, to receive or transfer your data (Art. 28 FADP), and to object to processing. Please contact us at the address above.

You can lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, www.edoeb.admin.ch). Persons in the EU can contact the supervisory authority of their country.
